As part of our celebration of Pride Month and the LGBTQ+ community, we discuss the film "Breaking Fast" (2020), with producer and NYFA Alumni Alex Lampsos.
Set in West Hollywood, the film centers on Mo, an observant Muslim doctor who is closed-off emotionally. On the first day of Ramadan, he meets Kal, a working actor who ultimately wins Mo over with his sweet disposition and proficient Arabic.
