Famed documentary film director Jonathan Stack (Emmy Award winner; two- time Academy Award nominee) will be sharing his work and giving a short master class to NYFA students.
This is a chance to see, hear, and listen to one of the country’s most lauded documentary film directors. Jonathan will be talking about both past and present work, including his innovative ideas about the unfolding role of direct and interactive cinema and social media in relation to documentary work.
If you are also interested in hearing one filmmaker’s work on helping people (often in the most dire of social circumstances) find a voice and tell their stories, you’ll want to come to this.
