NYFA Filmed at Home Festival Live Event

All students, faculty, staff, and alumni across all campuses are invited to join in and celebrate the ingenuity, creativity, and resilience of our students during this challenging time. We will be screening a curated collection of submissions ranging in style from comedic to animated, silent films to dramas, documentaries, and probably some that defy any category!
All screened selections were created during “quarantine” by NYFA students and alumni and are under 5 minutes or less!
Not all submissions will be included in the LIVE event and selections are at the discretion of the panel. Selected projects will be notified via NYFA email the week of the LIVE event.
The evening will be split into two halves, with an intermission. At the end of the second half, a panel made up of NYFA Faculty and Staff, will announce the winners and present awards.
Possible categories winners include but are not be limited to:
- The Special Jury Selection
- The Audience Selection
- Best Actor
- Best Actress
- And more fun surprises
