"The 20/20 Series" is a pop-up event that takes us into the homes, hubs and workspaces of an array of dynamic creative visionaries to allow for relaxed, engaging conversations on craft, creation and artistic vision.

Each conversation with a creative visionary features 20 minutes of discussion with a moderator and a 20 Q&A from YOU, the audience.

This event is open to the public, as a means of promoting global connection and creativity, a key mission of NYFA.

Bradley Ross is a unique mix of director, editor, and entrepreneur. As a commercial director, his work earned him multiple awards including a 2020 Telly and Clio. He spent a decade editing and producing a wide variety of content in New York City earning him multiple Emmy Nominations and Awards. Most notably, he edited and co-produced the hit documentary feature Cartel Land, which was nominated for the Oscar for Best Documentary in 2016. Other long-form credits include The Kindergarten Teacher starring Maggie Gyllenhaal, The 2017 TriBeCa Film Festival Audience Award Winner, Here Alone, and the 2020 release Centigrade, now streaming on HULU.

In 2012, he founded MANHATTAN, a full-service commercial production company where he takes a very hands-on approach incorporating filmmaking-forward principles with corporate realities, resulting in a corporate synergy that is celebrated among top tier agencies and direct-to-brand clients.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, MANHATTAN has led the commercial production industry’s innovation, developing shooting techniques both virtual and in-person with two main goals: Safety & creating content that viewers years from now would never know it was shot during a pandemic. As a director, Ross’ editorial spirit drives his work. With the story, pacing, and music always in mind, he has a knack for developing rich, emotive content that leaves you thinking and wanting more. Ross strongly believes in collaboration, which allows him to mesh well with clients and develop a deep trust and understanding. To this day, he carries around the mantra, “Don’t drink alone. Don’t think alone.”
