Dear NYFA LA Faculty/Staff:

Welcome back to campus for NYFA LA’s Spring Semester 2022. With increased spread of COVID-19 and the high transmissibility of the Omicron variant, NYFA LA will adjust mask guidance in order to mitigate on-campus transmission of COVID-19 and further protect our community.
  1. Only well-fitted medical grade masks, surgical masks, or higher-level respirators such as N95 filtering facepiece respirators or KN95 masks will be considered acceptable face coverings on campus.

  2. Masks must be worn at all times while indoors regardless of vaccination status.

  3. Previously issued NYFA masks with valves will no longer be considered acceptable to be worn on campus. Newer NYFA masks without valves will be acceptable and may be requested at security check-in points on campus.

Failure to comply with the guidelines above may result in disciplinary action.
