Come join us as a community to share family traditions and personal stories as we celebrate the Lunar New Year with friends and food.
The Lunar New Year begins on February 17, 2026! It is celebrated every year on the first day of the first lunar month in the lunisolar calendar and lasts for 15 days. In several traditions, each year is also connected to a zodiac animal. 2026 is the year of the horse in the Chinese zodiac.
During the Lunar New Year, families and communities come together to celebrate. They decorate houses and hold festivals, eat special-made dishes, and practice rituals intended to bring good luck for the coming year.
Open to all Students, Alumni, Faculty, and Staff.
Food will be provided.
