Denise Khumalo is an award-winning filmmaker with over 14 years of experience as a director and producer. Through her production company, Mnandi Productions, she has built a strong reputation for storytelling that highlights diverse narratives.
Her documentary Khayalami (My Home), available on Amazon Prime, has garnered critical acclaim for its powerful portrayal of Zimbabwe and has won multiple awards.
Her latest documentary, Unconventional, celebrates the journeys of people of color and immigrants in Los Angeles, showcasing their paths to success and inspiring fellow artists to pursue their dreams. Unconventional is currently streaming on kweliTV.
