Best Practices To Stay Healthy? Good Personal Hygiene and Getting Vaccinated

The incidence rates of new cases of COVID-19 in LA has increased and the number of COVID-19 patients hospitalized in LA has also increased. Consequently, the CDC risk level for Los Angeles County is MEDIUM.

The CDC recommends that all individuals living in Medium-Risk Counties engage in the following behaviors:
  • Wear a well-fitted, N95/KN95 respirator or mask of comparable quality, regardless of vaccination status, when indoors and in public if you are at high risk for severe illness.
  • Consider avoiding non-essential indoor activities if you or a family member are at risk of severe disease.
  • Wear a well-fitted, N95/KN95 respirator or mask of comparable quality, regardless of vaccination status, if you have been exposed to someone diagnosed with COVID-19, whenever indoors. Continue to wear a mask when indoors and sharing space with others for 10 days after the last day of exposure.
  • If you choose to frequent restaurants and entertainment venues, decide to enter spaces that are well ventilated and adequately spacious to allow for proper distancing.
  • Be vigilant and practicing good personal hygiene, regardless of vaccination status, to best protect yourself from getting ill.
By practicing caution and abiding by these health guidelines, you will limit your exposure to the virus, and you will be doing all you can to stay healthy and protect the safety of our community.

Stay safe and be well,

COVID-19 Administration Team - LA
