Best Practices To Staying Healthy? Good Personal Hygiene and Getting Vaccinated
Currently, the incidence rates of new cases of COVID-19 in NYC are decreasing, but they remain high. Because of the present-day transmission rates in New York City, unvaccinated people are at a high risk of infection. Vaccinated people are at less risk of infection.
If you are vaccinated and if you are unvaccinated, please remain vigilant by: strictly following personal hygiene guidelines; practicing physical distancing; wearing masks when indoors; and staying home when you are sick. Even if you are fully vaccinated, you are at risk of becoming infected, especially if you engage in higher risk behaviors, such as dining indoors at bars and restaurants, especially when not everyone gathered is vaccinated. By practicing caution and abiding by these health guidelines, you will limit your exposure to the virus, and you will be doing all you can to stay healthy and protect the safety of our community.
