A little more than a month into coursework, you’re likely getting settled in your routines. If spiritual or religious life is important to you, we’ve done some searching and found some online spaces for you to consider. We found services across the U.S for you but we’d love to hear your recommendations for services and support: email us and we will post your suggestions in the Counseling Section on the Student HUB.

NYFA Counseling knows social connections can be the most meaningful and important relationships you build in college.A great way to find other folks who share interests is by starting your own organization. Detailed information can be obtained by contacting your campuses Student Life office. Here’s a preview of what you need to know to get started:
  1. Come up with your organization idea
  2. Identify 3 student officers in good academic standing to create the group
  3. Send at least one officer to attend the Student Life sponsored training
  4. Recruit one full-time employee to act as advisor to your group
  5. Create an approved constitution to send to Student Life
  6. Submit online application to Student Life
Once you’re approved, you can invite other NYFA students to join your group! Questions? Email:Join an online NYFA event or let us know of an event/activity you would like to see. We will do our best to support your ideas.
