The intention of this space is to create a positive and inclusive auditory experience.
Music plays an impactful role in our lives - the right song or a carefully curated playlist can transport us to a different part of the world, energize us for our day, or get us in our feels. We can also learn a lot about each other and our individual cultures by sharing music. In the arts, there are many ways to explore who we are and express what’s important to us. NYFA’s DEI Programming Committee encourages all students, faculty, and staff to contribute to community-sourced playlists throughout the year.

Access through QR Codes
The latest playlist can be accessed via QR codes around campus and by subscribing to the NYFA Profile. Keep an eye out for updates concerning themes to shine a spotlight on an emerging musician or share a song that has meaning to you. Join us in creating these playlists to give our community a pulse!
