JSTOR Resources During COVID-19
During the current COVID-19 crisis, JSTOR and our participating publishers are making additional content freely available to participating institutions where students have been displaced.

There are no additional steps for NYFA students and staff to take to access this content. Simply login to JSTOR as usual and start searching! 

University of Michigan Press

Documentary Educational Resources
In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, we continue to look for ways to assist educators, students, and media librarians. So to help with your online learning needs we'd like to invite you to watch from home.

Starting today, we're offering unlimited streaming access to a curated selection of 24 free films – a mix of new releases and classic titles from our collection.

National Theatre at Home
Join the National Theatre on their YouTube page every Thursday at 7pm UK time for some of the best British theatre, free to stream for a week. Starting from April 2nd with the online premiere of One Man Two Guvnors.

Extended Free Streaming Trials
A number of consumer streaming services have extended their tree trial periods during this time which should be helpful either for edification or research.

University of Michigan Press
As of April 7th, University of Michigan Press will extend temporary free-to-read access to the UMP Ebook Collection (UMP EBC) until the end of August 2020. The hope is that this extension will strengthen libraries as they support students and professors who need ebook access throughout the entire spring semester.

Netflix Educational Documentaries
At this time Netflix has made a small selection of their educational documentaries available.

Bloomberg Media
Bloomberg Media is currently offering 3 months of free access to all college students. Log in with your NYFA email account to get started today!

Springer Nature Free Textbooks
To try and ease the tremendous pressure which is being put on academia right now, Springer Nature has made a range of essential textbooks from all disciplines freely available to help support students and instructors worldwide.

Statista is a statistics portal that integrates thousands of diverse topics of data and facts from a wide range of sources onto a single platform. Sources of information include market research, trade publications, scientific journals, and government databases. The NYFA community has been granted free access through July 18th, 2020.
