Josh Moorman
Head Librarian

Josh earned his MLIS from San Jose State University and his BA in History/Political Science from Concordia University, Irvine. He has been a working professional Librarian since 2005 although his life in libraries began in 1997 as a student employee at his university library. His professional interests include cataloging and metadata standards, collection development and management, and providing information literacy to patrons. His personal interests include a love for film history, so he enjoys discussions with students and instructors on movies from the Silent Era through the Superhero Era.

Alex Kratofil
Associate Librarian

Alex earned his MLIS from San Jose State University with a nomination to Beta Phi Mu and his BA in History with a minor in English from UC Santa Barbara. He has been working in records management since 2011 and libraries since 2012. Since 2018 he has co-hosted and produced The Purpose Driven Dude Podcast. His professional interests include information literacy, digital resource management, and digital preservation. His personal interests include so-bad-they're-good B movies, video games, and all things The Big Lebowski.

Rumena Dinevska
Library Assistant

Rumena graduated with honors from the New York Film Academy, Los Angeles, earning a BFA in Filmmaking. She started working in the NYFA library in 2016 as a work/study student and was rehired as a library assistant after completing her program. During her studies, Rumena directed the music video Thief for DJ Ookay, which now has 11 million views on Youtube. She continues to write and direct and is currently working on developing a show called Lethalz and various other projects, from shorts to features. She loves art house films, psychological thrillers, and analog photography.

Jamie Anthony
Library Assistant

Jamie has been working in customer service since 1998. She has been with NYFA since 2010 and joined the NYFA Library in 2014. She earned her Cosmetology License from the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology in 2017. She brings her cheery, personable and creative personality to her work with a focus on circulation, reference services and materials processing. Her personal interests include good Rom-coms (especially from the 80's-90's), TV dramas and keeping up with trends in the fashion and beauty industry.
