Masking on Campus Guidelines
|
Updated: February 14, 2022
Dear NYFA LA Students, Faculty and Staff:
As a reminder, NYFA LA’s expectations for masking are continuing. While the State of California is adjusting masking requirements on February 16, masking expectations for LA County and NYFA remain.
At this time, NYFA LA’s guidance on masking is as follows:- Only higher-level respirator such as N95 filtering facepiece respirators, KN95, or KF94 masks will be considered acceptable face coverings on campus.
- Masks must be worn at all times while indoors regardless of vaccination status.
- Previously issued NYFA masks with valves will no longer be considered acceptable to be worn on campus. Newer NYFA masks without valves will be acceptable and may be requested at security check-in points on campus.
- Students who have been previously issued acceptable masks by NYFA Security will not be reissued an acceptable mask. Students will be prevented from campus entry without an acceptable mask.
Failure to comply with the guidelines above may result in disciplinary action.
Thank you for following the above guidelines and helping us keep our campus safe. |
