Important Reminder for Summer Semester

Dear NYFA Community,
We hope you are well and taking good care of yourselves as you approach the end of spring semester. To promote a smooth transition to summer, please read this reminder regarding NYFA’s Pre-Entry Testing Protocol.
ALL STUDENTS, FACULTY, and STAFF are required to get a RT-PCR COVID-19 diagnostic test and submit a valid report of their test results before the first day of in-person classes, May 2, 2022. The report must indicate that a RT-PCR Test COVID-19 was administered within 7 days of the first day of in-person class. We recommend you get tested no earlier than April 25th and, to best avoid delays, no later than April 29th. Your RT-PCR COVID-19 test result must be negative to enter campus and participate in any in-person activities.

All COVID-19 Team Administrators are trained to keep your information private and your test results are securely filed in accordance with CDC and OHSA privacy laws.
If you test positive for COVID -19, please follow the guidelines found here and contact your campus COVID-19 Team Administrator to report your positive test result and receive guidance and support (contact information above).
