Log In to Catalog

Welcome to this New York Film Academy library tutorial video. In this video we are going to demonstrate how to access the library catalog.
We are at the NYFA library website currently, nyfa.edu/library, and first thing you'll need to do is select the campus that you are currently at, or the campus' catalog you intend to connect to, anyway. For the purposes of this demonstration we're going to look at the Los Angeles campus.
So from here, you just need to select the library catalog option along the left hand navigation bar. And you'll see when you click through here there's some information about the catalog. A little bit of just basic info. The login credentials are directly here on the page, this nyfa library bolded text, so what I'm going to do, is I'm going to actually highlight that text, copy it directly, and go ahead and click through to the library catalog, and then in the Library Name field, I'm just going to paste that directly in and there is no password to log in to this or any of the catalog logins that we offer. So, once you have that entered in the Library Name field, just go ahead and click Sign In, and you'll see we are now directly into the library catalog. Information on how to use this catalog will be coming in a separate video, so feel free to look at that video for more information on how to use the library catalog.
